Restaurant Supervisor

Ralph's American Grill in Wilmington, Ohio, is looking for a exceptional and experienced full time Restaurant Supervisor to join our team! Ideal candidates have previous experience in a high-volume restaurant, excellent customer service skills, and flexibility in schedule. The position requires a great deal of energy, a positive attitude, and desire to always wear a smile. 

Floor Supervisor

Job Summary:

Assuring our guests experience is consistently maintained through supervision; delegations of staff. Assisting in the development of systems and procedures, while monitoring service standards and levels for consistency. To promote Ralph's American Grill's mission and vision statement through continual demonstration of actions.  Contributes to the success of Ralph's American Grill.

Essential Functions:

1. Oversees and supervises daily operations of the Floor.

2. To be aware of budgeted and actual departmental targets. This to include sales, covers, and departmental profits

3. To ensure effective stock rotation and maintain stock levels to include storage and use of equipment

7. To follow procedures for the floor at all times

8. To assist with maintaining and improving departmental operating standards

9. To assist with leading and motivating the departmental team to promote good team member morale and ensure a high level of commitment and pride

10. To carry out planned training and development in a systematic and professional way in order to meet the needs of the business and assist in individual team members personal development

11. To be fully aware of and comply with company rules and regulations as identified in the team member handbook

12. Prioritizes, assigns and trains staff

14. Monitors integrity of operation and the service standards established

15. Delegates and oversees bartending 

16. Enforce sanitary practices for food handling, general cleanliness, and maintenance of kitchen and service areas

17. Ensure compliance with operational standards, company policies, federal/state/local laws, and ordinances

18. Maintains a professional image, including proper uniforms, and appearance standards

19. Ensure a safe working and guest environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidents

20. Completes accident reports promptly in the event that a guest or team member is injured

21. Provide direction to team members regarding operational and procedural issues

22. Have complete knowledge of all policies, standards and procedures of the department       

23. Available for work assignments outside of associate’s customary work schedule.  This may include evenings, weekends and holidays

24. Adherence to all safety rules and regulations

5. Associate must be able to bend at waist 

6. Associate must be able to use hands repetitively

7. Associate must be able to reach above the shoulder 

8. Associate must talk and hear. 

Qualifications, Education, Experience, Skills, and Abilities:

1. Must be able to understand and write English

2. Minimum of 2 years serving experience
